Elizabeth Pemberton is her real name now. She was born near the capital of Jamaica. When Elizabeth turned 11 she with her parents emigrated to the UK, London , where in fact her music career started. She has two solo albums: “No one will for you” and “Share the world”.

At present Liz is touring around the globe performing Boney M most famous hits “Daddy Cool”, “Brown Girl”, “Sunny”, “Rasputin” and her own songs. She has her own line-up containing Tony Ashcroft, a professional dancer, and two female back vocalists. Liz has her own official website Boney M.

Another Boney M vocalist Maizie Williams has alongside with Liz Mitchell created her own version of the group at the beginning of 1990’s. By the way she invited her old friend Sheila Bonnick to join her. Both vocalists worked in Boney M together in 1970-s. Before coming to Farian’s project Williams worked as a model. After the group split up in 1980-s she wrote articles about it and took part in British TV programs. Apart from music Williams at present is also highly involved in charity and sports. Her book about how to keep fit has been published recently.

In 2010 Williams litigated her right to perform under the name of Boney M. Since then she is a frequent guest of festivals and private parties. In 2014 Boney M is planning to give several concerts in Australia.
